Rachel Kelly ~ Recreational & Competitive Dance Teacher
Rachel Kelly started her competitive dance training at the age of 12 and continued training for 7 more years until graduating high school in 2018. While training in high school she competed at many dance competitions all over Nova Scotia winning various awards as a soloist and group dancer alongside her teammates. After high school, she moved to Toronto to train at George Brown College in their two-year Dance Performance Program which is affiliated with the prestigious professional ballet company, Canada's Ballet Jorgen. Since graduating in April 2020, Rachel has since moved back to Nova Scotia and started working as a dance teacher and choreographer. She states “it has been an amazing two years working with kids and becoming a teacher figure in their life. As a dance teacher, I want kids to learn that dance is meant to be fun! I strive to have kids feel comfortable, confident, and happy while in my class.”
